Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

My education consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communication, Design Reproduction Technology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I also have an Associate of Arts degrees in Business Marketing from Lake Tahoe Community College. I attended Cal Poly on a full academic scholarship and graduated with hard work and a lot of prayer.

I was baptized on September 14 of 2003 in the North upper Truckee River in South Lake Tahoe. On the day I was to be baptized I broke out in a rash all over my legs and stomach. I have a reaction to polyester. I could barely walk because of the blisters. I knew that someone didn’t want me to go to the Church picnic to be baptized, which only made it more pressing that I get there. I would like to say that immediately following the baptism the rash went away but it took several hours after with a little mothering from on of my sisters.

I currently attend Lake Tahoe Christian fellowship in South Lake Tahoe, as of September 2004. I have gone through the complete life class at the church and now I do I make the coffee and bagels after the morning service. I also attend a life group on Sunday night and am a part of Monday night body builders where we do book studies. The leader of the group and I are starting a group that will bring meals to those in need. I also assisted in the preparations for the church Christmas party. We invite the community, feed them, give the children gifts, and minister to them. It was a lot of fun.

Today I don’t keep my Christianity private, nor am I embarrassed about it. I get to use my life experiences and the times that I lacked in faith to minister to others and to glorify God. My personal philosophy when under fire is:
Stop
Drop
And Pray!
